Kudos for mixer Scott Millan

MillanThe Cinema Audio Society will recognition re-recording mixer Scott Millan using the CAS Career Achievement Award on February. 18. Millan is going to be feted in the 48th CAS Honours in the Millennium-Biltmore Hotel in L.A. A four-time Academy Award champion (for "Apollo 13," "Gladiator," "Ray" and "The Bourne Ultimatum"), Millan was nominated for any total of eight Academy awards. Younger crowd won three CAS trophies for outstanding achievement in seem mixing. Millan's 37-year career spans stints at L.A.'s funnel 13, CBS, Larson Seem and Todd AO Galleries, where he grew to become lead dialogue/music mixer, focusing on such films as "Schindler's List," "Braveheart" and "Gladiator." In 2000 Millan visited The new sony Pictures, but he came back to Todd AO in 2004 as senior veep, procedures.
