I have programmed a drum track using real drum samples that sound
great by themselves but are lacking a bit when mixed with guitars and
bass etc. I think this is because the snare and kick samples were
recorded with close up mics and therefore the sounds that overhead
mics would usually pick up and add to the overall sound of the drum
track is missing. I've duplicated my snare and kick tracks and am
trying to apply EQ, and reverb to the copied tracks to make them sound
like what the overheads would usually pick up, but i can't get it to
sound right. Does anyone know how i could do this? Hope that made
